At enduraLAB, we’ve always believed that great coaching changes lives. As our community has grown over the last 15 years, we’ve continued asking ourselves one question: How do we make the experience even better for every athlete who walks through our doors?

Today, we’re excited to share one of the biggest steps we’ve taken toward that goal.

Welcome, Mark Alvarado, General Manager of enduraLAB

Please join us in congratulating Mark Alvarado, who has officially stepped into the role of General Manager at enduraLAB.

For many of our members, Mark doesn’t need much of an introduction. He has been part of the enduraLAB coaching team for the past 10 years, leading classes, coaching athletes through milestones big and small, and building lasting relationships with our community. What many people may not realize is that his coaching experience extends well beyond enduraLAB, bringing years of leadership, education, and athlete development to every interaction.

As Mark looked toward the next chapter of his career, he wanted something more than the grueling schedule of an educator working in a large school district. He was looking for a career where he could continue to grow as a coach, impact more athletes on a larger scale, and still have the flexibility to spend meaningful time with his growing family.

At the same time, enduraLAB had reached a point where we knew it was time to make an investment in the future of our community.

Sometimes, the right opportunity comes at exactly the right time.

More Than a Coach

Mark’s new role is much bigger than his previous role of delivering expert coaching in our classes.

As General Manager, he’ll help shape the entire enduraLAB experience from intentional programming and coach development to member success, operational excellence, and the day-to-day leadership that helps our gym thrive.

He’s stepping into the role of an intrapreneur, someone who leads with ownership, takes initiative, and helps build the future of enduraLAB from within.

That means continually asking:

  • How can we coach better?
  • How can we create stronger relationships?
  • How can we continue learning?
  • How can we make every athlete feel seen, challenged, and supported?

Those questions have always been important to Mark, and they’re exactly why we believe he’s the right person for this role.

We’re incredibly thankful he’s chosen to grow alongside us over the past decade, and we’re even more excited to see the impact he’ll make in this expanded leadership position. We truly believe he’ll help elevate the experience at enduraLAB for every athlete who walks through our doors.
