What brought you into enduraLAB in the first place? I needed a gym to get strong post “Stay-at-Home” orders and someplace safe during COVID-19.. Plus, my wife and I had recently moved to Fort Worth and had been looking for a new gym - came across enduraLAB on Instagram.
What did your run routine look like before joining the LAB? Working perpetually. I usually sacrificed “me time” to get some more work done. This led to procrastinating working out - which I know is very important for your well being!
What healthy changes have you made since joining the gym? Putting an hour (or 2 sometimes) aside for the LAB workouts - no matter how busy I am.
Tell us what you do outside of the LAB? I work as a Client Partner for a Technology Services company - Tech Mahindra Americas Inc.
How have you grown as an athlete since joining the LAB? Before coming to the LAB I wasn’t sure if lifting weights was really something I could do or should be doing. The coaches at enduraLAB make it so easy for you to understand - the benefits and the right way of doing it (as long as you’re coach-able ;) )
What is a goal you have set for yourself in the next 6 months? I want to become a stronger athlete and be able to run a half marathon.
What is your favorite enduraLAB event or program? Memorial Day Murph - although I missed it this time!
What advice would you have for a new person starting at enduraLAB? You’re at the right place. The time is always right and you’re not by yourself. At enduraLAB you have a family/community of athletes with you.. Take the plunge!
Favorite cheat meal/restaurant in D/FW? Heim BBQ - love their meats (brisket) and sides (hatch chile mac and cheese).
Current read / podcast? “Thinking, Fast and Slow” and “Black Swan”
Where did you go to college? I went to school (St Vincent’s) and college (Pune University) in India where I grew up.
