What brought you to enduraLAB? I needed to come somewhere where I could lift heavier weight while helping me develop more consistency outside of my gym routine.
What did your workout routine look like before joining the LAB? I mostly did cardio with not much (or enough) weight training.
What healthy changes have you made since joining the LAB? I’ve started nutrition at the LAB, and it’s helping me make better eating decisions. Nutrition is such an important part of fitness.
Tell us what you do outside of the LAB? I currently own my own business and attend grad school at TCU.
How have you grown as an athlete since joining the LAB? Brag a little. Max doesn’t love to brag on himself, so the eL Team is here to do that for him… As coaches, we have seen Max solidify his technique and lift heavier weights in safe ways. Despite having a back injury, he makes every workout work for him and never gives up. Keep killing it!!!
What is a goal you have set for yourself in the next 6 months? I’m hoping to be able to do 5 sets of 5 pull ups.
What is your favorite enduraLAB event or program? I love the 5am Strength+Conditioning class!
What advice would you have for a new person starting at enduraLAB? Come in and be honest with yourself and get 1% better each day. All progress is good progress.
