What brought you to enduraLAB?
My former co-worker Zach Jackson mentioned the gym and told me how amazing it had been for him over the past couple of years. I was looking for a change and decided to give it a try. I signed up after my first class!
What did your workout routine look like before joining the LAB?
I was on and off at some of the big-name gyms. However, I lacked consistency and a routine over the past couple of years.
What healthy changes have you made since joining the LAB?
I’ve made so many changes since I started working out at enduraLAB. For me, having a consistent workout plan has been vital. Working out daily has made me more conscious of what I eat, and I’ve been more focused.
Tell us what you do outside of the LAB?
Outside the LAB, I’m a software engineer and spend a lot of my time coding. I’ve also been working on my MBA for about a year now. Aside from work and school, traveling and visiting new places is one of my favorite things. And I’m a techie and gamer as well.
How have you grown as an athlete since joining the LAB? Brag a little.
I’ve been going to the gym daily for about 4 months now and I've made substantial progress. Over the course of the last 4 months, I’ve lost a little over 50 lbs! I feel so much better mentally and physically and look forward to what the next 6 months will bring.
What is a goal you have set for yourself in the next 6 months?
I see myself being able to hit my target weight in the next 6 months, and I’d like to be able to knock out a few pull-ups :)
What is your favorite enduraLAB event or program?
Strength and conditioning is my favorite, but I’m definitely looking forward to the Murph!
What advice would you have for a new person starting at enduraLAB?
Consistency is key! Everyone on staff is here to support and encourage you as you hit your goals. Also, the LAB has a community that is very friendly and helpful.
Favorite treat meal/restaurant in D/FW?
Ninja Sushi and Grill, you can never go wrong with sushi!

The structure that enduraLAB offers has made a tremendous impact on my fitness and eating habits, not to mention the fantastic support that the coaches and fellow community offers. Coming to EnduraLAB is one of the best decisions I’ve made in years.
