Slow down, recenter, tune out anxiety and stress, and recharge with these tips and tricks.

It’s all about taking a MINI-MEDITATION break … and you can do it literally ANYWHERE, from standing in line at the grocery store, if you’re rushing around in the morning, or even during a stressful meeting at work.

It also works for people who don’t enjoy meditating! That’s because it takes only a short amount of time … but trust me, you’ll feel a difference almost immediately.

Here’s how you do it.

First, all you do is take a breath and do a quick body scan. Notice if you have tight shoulders, if you are clenching your jaw, or even tensing your legs. And then relax.

Next, take another intentional breath in and out ...and really tune into your surroundings. This seems counter-intuitive, but it’s so so important because this has nothing to do with escaping any stress you are feeling.

Instead, you want to focus on being 100 percent present where you are right now!

Notice the temperature of the air, the sounds around you, the feeling of your breath as it goes in and out of your body. Notice whatever makes sense to you – just be alert and aware.

Finally, take another intentional breath in and out … and you’re done! That’s it, just three breaths.

Obviously you can extend this into a longer session, but making time for a few of these sessions every day can make a HUGE difference in your mindfulness, and in your ability to let go and enjoy each and every moment!

Making a little space and time in your life for self-care will help you be more present for your loved ones … and for yourself … so you can enjoy every moment of this season!

Try this today and see if it helps you!
